2. Terrell Bynum is starting to look like that No. 1 receiver

For weeks, Washington has been looking for a true No. 1 target and after seven games, it seems pretty clear that junior wideout Terrell Bynum is that guy.

Washington has targets like Cade Otton, Jalen McMillan, and Taj Davis, but on Friday night, it was Bynum that looked like the clear favorite to take over the No. 1 role. He had been relatively quiet since his breakout freshman season in 2019 when he had 31 catches for 368 yards and two touchdowns but Friday’s game was the best of his career.

And with his five catches for 143 yards and a touchdown, he helped Washington storm back from a 13-0 halftime deficit and he’s now over 400 receiving yards on the season.

If Bynum can build on this performance and continue that rise up the list of targets for Dylan Morris, the Washington offense is only going to improve. We need to see more of what we saw from Bynum and Morris in the second half moving forward.
