Auburn football controls its own destiny in the SEC West and takes on Ole Miss this week. Here are three reasons the Tigers will win.

Week nine is now upon us and this 2021 College Football season is flying by. Here we are again another big game where Auburn Football is in another crucial matchup.

The question is starting to be asked just how tough is this Auburn team? We all know they are a good team, but a team with a new head coach and not the level of recruiting most fans would like, can they keep maintaining wins against the SEC’s best?

Auburn is still holding onto a respectable 5-2 record (2-1 in the SEC). Things are starting to heat up as everyone gets deep into their conference play. The Ole Miss Rebels come into Jordan-Hare with a 6-1 record and one of the best offenses in the nation. Led by Heisman hopeful Matt Corral. Just like it has been for many weeks this season, Auburn is playing another game for the ages.

It is all going to come down to which is better: Ole Miss Rebels offense, or the Auburn Tigers defense. Whoever has a better game is going to win this one. The Rebels are ranked 3rd in total offense. Auburn is ranked 40th in defense but the Tigers have had some major setbacks this year.

In my opinion the SEC West is the greatest division in football. As we get further into the season you will see why. Running back Tank Bigsby and cornerback Roger McCreary are the honorary captains of the game, according to head coach Bryan Harsin.

As football continues to heat up in the Deep South here are 3 reasons why the Auburn Tigers will stay on top of the West.
