This week in the Big Ten Power Rankings, there are two big games in East Lansing and Columbus.

Is this a dream, or is it reality?
Have I finally found someone who loves me?
I just want to know

Have you ever loved somebody
Will you ever love somebody
The way that Jesus loves you

This week in the Big Ten Power Rankings, things seem to begin to regress toward the mean. Ohio State looks ornery as they dominated Indiana 54-7. Despite the Hoosier’s struggles, they came into that game with a solid defense, and the Buckeyes made them look bad, really bad.

Have we found some genuine contenders for the Buckeyes’ Big Ten throne? The next three weeks will determine the East. Michigan State hosts Michigan, while Ohio State hosts Penn State at the Horseshoe.

The winners of those games will have the inside track to the Big Ten East division. An upset win by Penn State in Columbus would more than makeup for the stinker they had last week in State College against Illinois.

The biggest concern in that game is not so much that the Nittany Lions should not have played quarterback Sean Clifford, but they could not run the football against Illinois.

This weekend will separate the real from the pretender. So, to rivalry trophies in the shape of oaken buckets, the game with no rivalry trophies, whiteouts, and large bass drums, here are the Big Ten Power Rankings for week nine.
