1. Cincinnati will score a season-high in points

Coming off of a bad game, the Bearcats will looking to come out red-hot this week. They’ll need to silence all of the doubters after last week’s performance. What better way to do that than by lighting up the scoreboard.

Lucky for them there isn’t an easier defense to do that against than this Tulane defense. The Green Wave are allowing an abysmal 42.3 points per game which is third-worst in the entire country. They are also giving up an average of 493 yards a game. This is not a recipe for success against the No. 2 ranked team in the nation especially when they average 41 points a game as it is. Tulane cannot stop anyone on defense and is certainly going to struggle against this Bearcat offense.

Cincinnati is eager to come out and dominate in this one and couldn’t have asked for a better opponent to allow that. Desmond Ridder needs a bounce-back game and will be very aggressive early on. Cincinnati’s season-high in points is 56 right now against UCF two weeks ago. I believe the Bearcats will score more than that against Tulane. I predict they might even put up 60.
