3. Florida’s run defense

One of the reasons that Georgia should have success on offense Saturday afternoon is the poor quality of Florida’s run defense. LSU ran wild all over the Gators and that was a Tiger team that was struggling to run the ball on anyone.

Georgia has a solid offensive line and more than enough running backs to control the tempo of the game.

If the Gators can’t stop the Georgia running game, it is going to be a long afternoon for them.

Florida is going to need to force Georgia to throw the ball when they have to, which they have not had to do much this season. Stopping the run on early downs will be key. I’ve got a hunch that the Gators won’t be able to stop Zamir White, James Cook, and the Bulldogs.
