1. Michigan at Michigan State

This will be the second matchup for Jim Harbaugh and Mel Tucker and it’s a big one for both Michigan and Michigan State.

Each team is 7-0 and both are ranked in the top 10. This hasn’t happened in this matchup since 1961 and regardless of the College Football Playoff, the winner could have an inside track on a Rose Bowl berth, even if the winner eventually goes down to Ohio State.

Michigan is ranked higher and is a slight favorite but it’s going to be a battle. Michigan State has the edge at quarterback but the game is going to come down to who runs it better.

The Wolverines have Blake Corum and Hassan Haskins compared to Heisman contender Kenneth Walker III. Michigan also has the nation’s second-best scoring defense and Aidan Hutchinson.

He will make a difference and the Wolverines will do enough on the ground to win a war after they get a late turnover to survive with a win.
