Did you miss any of the action in this boring Week 8 in SEC football? Let’s get you updated on what happened and what didn’t happen in terms of a shake-up in the power rankings.

First of all, Arkansas faced off against Arkansas Pine Bluff in a game they were expected to dominate and they did, 45-3. Ole Miss and LSU faced off and, as expected by most, Ole Miss won 31-17. The Tigers did well enough, but the Rebels are just a better team offensively and it showed on Saturday morning. Will anyone be able to stop Matt Corral and Co.?

Mississippi State proved they are a better team than many of the other bottom of the SEC teams, knocking off Vanderbilt 45-6. It seems that everyone, outside of South Carolina, has beat up on the Commodores this week. Tennessee managed to keep their trash to themselves this week, facing off against Alabama and falling 52-24 despite a close game to start and through to halftime.

Texas A&M brought up the end cap with a 44-14 win over South Carolina. The Aggie defense held South Carolina to next to nothing through most of the game and it wasn’t until the third-string checked in that we saw points for the Gamecocks.

Now that you are all caught up for this week, let’s talk power rankings- starting at the bottom and working our way up.
