AP POLL TOP 10

1. Georgia (8-0)

Week 9 result: Defeated Florida 34-7

Per usual, this was not a pretty game for Georgia on offense. But that didn’t matter whatsoever as they still whooped the Gators by 27. That just proves yet again how unbelievably good this defense is. You may not believe it but the Bulldogs only had three points until there were about two minutes left in the first half.

Then they forced three straight turnovers and did a terrific job of turning defense into offense. Georgia capitalized on great field position scoring 21 points in the final 2 minutes of the half including a pick six Nakobe Dean.

Dean has been one of the best linebackers in the entire country this year and finished with a PFF grade of 85.4 in this game. Stetson Bennett did not have his best game throwing two interceptions and looked inaccurate all game long.

I was surprised Kirby Smart did not put in JT Daniels at all in this game and am interested to see how he handles the QB situation the rest of the year. I anticipate they will both play next week against Missouri who should be another easy victory.

Next game: vs Missouri

My prediction: Win 49-10
