Week 9 result: Won 51-31 vs Hawaii

Utah State QB Logan Bonner bounced back nicely against Hawaii after being sacked eight times in the previous game against Colorado State. The Aggies have a favorable remaining schedule, with their toughest game coming against San Jose State in mid-November.

Week 9 result: Won 51-20 vs UNLV
Week 10 game: Nov. 6 vs San Jose State (5-4)

Nevada looks to continue the momentum built in this dominating win when they take on San Jose State. QB Carson Strong continues to put up absurd numbers this season. He’s in the top 10 in the country in both passing yards (2,883) and touchdowns thrown (24). A tough test against SJSU begins a very difficult final stretch in the Wolfpack schedule. Games against Air Force and San Diego State lie in wait.

Week 9 result: Won 59-28 vs UL-Monroe
Week 10 game: Nov. 6 at Arkansas State (1-7)

Appalachian State has played great all season long, save for a road game against an equally great Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns team. Against ULM, QB Chase Brice threw a season-high four touchdown passes. The Mountaineers are in a great position to win out the remainder of their schedule. Their toughest remaining game is Nov. 13 against South Alabama.

Week 9 result: Bye Week
Week 10 game: Nov. 3 at Kent State (4-4)

Northern Illinois is riding a five-game winning streak entering this week’s game against Kent State. Huskies QB Rocky Lombardi had a season-high 348 passing yards in NIU’s previous game. NIU will have their hands full against Kent State they are an evenly matched team, statistically speaking. They both average 29 points per game, each starting QB has thrown nine touchdown passes and each team’s star running back has 500+ total rushing yards this season.

Week 9 result: Bye Week
Week 10 game: Nov. 6 vs Army (4-3)

The game Air Force has circled on their calendar each year (along with the Navy game) will be an exciting matchup between these two military schools. Air Force has been one of the best teams in the Mountain West and will no doubt have a huge home-field advantage in this game. The Falcons have accumulated more than 2,500 rushing yards as a team so far this season.
