This week in the Big Ten Power Rankings, the Michigan State Spartans remain undefeated after winning against Michigan last weekend.

Yes, some things never change
Like the feel of your hand in mine
Some things stay the same
Like how we get along just fine
Like an old stone wall that’ll never fall
Some things are always true
Some things never change
Like how I’m holding on tight to you

In as much as fans clamored for change, the Big Ten has many of the usual suspects atop the standings. Ohio State is surviving and advancing, setting up a showdown against Michigan State for the Big Ten West title.

As horrendous as Wisconsin quarterback Graham Mertz has played, the Badgers find themselves in second place in the Big Ten East, having beaten Purdue with three bad teams between them and Minnesota in the season finale. That game could decide the Big Ten West.

Speaking of the Golden Gophers, they are atop the west despite losing most of their running back room with a quarterback who can’t throw. Head coach PJ Fleck is proving last season was an anomaly. Minnesota looks ripe for a second ten-win season under Fleck.

The best thing about the schedule in this part of the season is that playing on the field will decide things. So, to horseshoes, big houses, and whiteouts, here are the Big Ten Power Rankings for week 10.
