The SEC is shaking up a bit after Week 9 and we are starting to see what each team is really made of. Where does your team rank out this week?

Did you miss any of the action in Week 9? Let’s get you all caught up. There were only four games, so it won’t take long. First, Missouri beat Vanderbilt- just like we all expected — 37-28.

Vanderbilt is just not good and their record and results week in and week out reflect that. Georgia killed Florida, but it was really only a 24 point second quarter that did them in. Otherwise, they were only outscored 10-7.

Auburn beat Ole Miss, 31-20. The Auburn defense was able to really step up when it mattered most, though that was in the first quarter. Most shockingly, Mississippi State knocked off Kentucky who now sits with two losses and no longer controls their own destiny in terms of getting an NY6 bid. Things are getting interesting in the conference and we are going to start seeing their true colors this week.

Now, that you are caught up, let’s talk power rankings- starting at the bottom.

Commodores . 14. team. 887. . 2-7. Previous: 14th

The Commodores are on a bye week after falling to Missouri this week. The good part of that? No one has to struggle through watching the ‘Dores again this week and that is great news for their fans who are sick and tired of watching this week in and week out. Will Vanderbilt find another win this year? Stay tuned to find out.

13. team. 850. . 4-4. Previous: 13th. Gamecocks

The Gamecocks were off this week after being absolutely annihilated by Texas A&M the week before. Now, they get Florida, and let’s be real — this is going to be a repeat of the A&M matchup. Anthony Richardson can put up big numbers, and this South Carolina defense cannot handle it. I’m sorry Gamecock faithful, it’s going to be a long Saturday.
