College Football Playoff Rankings 2021: Projected Top 25, Week 11
Notre Dame is going to find its way inside the top 10 this week after beating Navy 34-6 in South Bend. This isn’t your typical Navy team, however. The Midshipmen have been really bad this season and they drop to 2-7 after the loss to Notre Dame, eliminating any hope for a bowl berth.
The Irish still have to feel good about the win to improve to 8-1 on the year because the defense stepped up and the offense controlled the tempo.
Brian Kelly got a solid performance from Jack Coan as his QB1 as he’s continuing to separate himself as the starter. He completed 23-of-29 passes for 269 yards and a touchdown and Kyren Williams approached 100 yards again.
If Notre Dame’s offense can continue to play well, matching up with its defense, the Irish are going to be playing for big things this postseason.
Don’t look now, the Irish are creeping closer to their third playoff berth in four years.
