Oklahoma was the only team in the first playoff Top 25 that got a bye in Week 10 and the Sooners are hoping to come back just as strong in Week 11 and possibly even move up in the rankings.

Many Sooner fans felt like they were robbed in the first playoff rankings which saw them sitting behind four one-loss teams. The only unbeaten teams ahead of 9-0 Oklahoma in the playoff rankings are Georgia, Michigan State, and Cincinnati. Sooner fans feel like they’re better than all but Georgia.

There could be a case made for that, but for now, the Sooners need to impress the playoff committee and it’d be impossible to leave a 12-0 Oklahoma team out of the playoff field considering the remaining schedule won’t be easy.

Caleb Williams is a legitimate Heisman threat but probably won’t win the award because he’s played fewer games than the other candidates, but he could still make some noise with a strong finish to the regular season.
