There are only three weeks left before the committee meets and releases their final rankings of the season and we see the College Football Playoff field. After an interesting Week 11, the playoff field is squarely in focus and a lot is going to be decided in the next few weeks.

Georgia continued to look like the most complete team in the country with the way that they handled Tennessee in Knoxville. The Volunteers got out to an early 7-0 lead, but it was all Georgia from that point on. With Charleston Southern and Georgia Tech to close the season out, it might be safe to say that Georgia has a playoff spot locked up already.

Ohio State had a home game with a Purdue team that had already pulled two big upsets this season, but the Buckeyes were having none of it. The Buckeyes have the offensive talent to be a national title contender and they showed it yesterday. If there is a team capable of knocking off Georgia, Ohio State might have the best shot.

Alabama cruised to a 56-3 win over New Mexico State, Cincinnati had another uninspiring performance against an inferior team, and both Michigan and Michigan State took care of business and kept their conference championship hopes alive. Oklahoma took their first loss of the season and their playoff hopes appear to be on shaky ground.

Here are the winners and losers from the week 12 AP Poll release.
