Ohio State football put together an impressive win Saturday against Purdue and here are three takeaways from the Buckeyes.

We are inching closer to the resolution of the chaos known as the Big Ten East. Michigan picked up another win over Penn State early in the afternoon, while Michigan State is wrapping up a win against Maryland.

For Ohio State football, the Buckeyes face a final stretch of games that includes three ranked opponents. Today, the Buckeyes welcomed in a Purdue team that has a recent history of spoiling playoff resumes. In 2021 alone, Purdue has taken down two Top-5 teams.

But, Buckeye fans remember a massive upset back in 2018 that led to them missing out on the playoff. Today was the first game between the two, and it is safe to say Ohio State got its revenge.

Ohio State football’s offense scored touchdowns on their first six possessions and did not punt until midway through the 3rd quarter. Every playmaker came up clutch for the Buckeyes with Stroud, Henderson, and the trio of Buckeye receivers doing most of the heavy lifting.

Purdue played hard until the end, but two early fumbles contributed to the Boilermakers being stuck in a hole with a major deficit to overcome. The Buckeyes rolled to victory in Columbus with a 59-31 victory.

With two massive games to go, what did we learn from the Buckeyes?
