Braelon Allen – Running Back

Wisconsin football has always been known for having good running backs in their program. Braelon Allen seems to fit the bill for a player that we will be talking about a lot for the next few seasons in Madison.

Starter Chez Mellusi suffered a season-ending injury last week and is now out for the rest of the season. Mellusi may have been the designated starter but the freshman back in Braelon Allen sure has been running like the true starter for the Badgers as of late.

Allen continued his great start to his Badgers campaign running for 173 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday against Northwestern.

He has now extended his streak of rushing for at least 100 yards to six consecutive games. Badgers seem to have found a really good back they can lean on for many years to come in the future.
