No 2. Kenneth Walker III will have one more signature game to make his Heisman case
The Buckeyes have yet to face someone like junior running back Kenneth Walker III— he’s a Heisman candidate for a reason.
He’s accumulated nearly 1,500 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns this season. Five of those touchdowns all came against rival Michigan in the team’s biggest win of the season.
The Buckeyes have not faced someone with Walker’s talent this season. Ohio State’s defense is great, but is it enough to slow down one of the best backs in the nation?
Earlier in the season Minnesota’s Mohamed Ibrahim and Oregon’s CJ Verdell each ran for 160+ yards against OSU. These are two backs who have nowhere near the skill level of Walker.
Expect another huge game from the Arlington, Tenn.-native, boosting his Heisman resume once again.
Would a 200+ yard rushing day and three touchdowns be enough to catapult Walker into front runner status?
