5 bold predictions for Week 12 of the College Football season
Big 12 chaos
Baylor threw a wrench into Oklahoma’s plan to make the College Football Playoff and now, the Bears actually have a shot at winning the Big 12 championship or making it back.
But first, looms a very challenging game against Kansas State. The Wildcats are 7-3 and just about every November, K-State seems to knock off someone that it shouldn’t in Manhattan.
I think that happens again Saturday. Deuce Vaughn is electrifying enough to make the game worth watching at any rate, and the Bears have a bit of a hangover after a huge win over Oklahoma. Baylor did allow 190 yards to Breece Hall and Iowa State and it’s a day like that for the Bears in Kansas.
Speaking of the Sooners, they face old nemesis Iowa State. The Cyclones are barely alive in the Big 12 title race and need a win over the Sooners but a lot more.
First things first, after a rough week following a loss to Texas Tech, the Cyclones respond. Hall (mentioned above) has a huge day, Brock Purdy plays close to mistake-free football, and this Iowa State group gets one last big win, just as everyone is doubting them, making for a wild final week in the Big 12.
