Georgia Football: 3 bold predictions vs Charleston Southern
By Mitch Kaiser
Georgia football will look to notch an easy win on Saturday against Charleston Southern and here are three bold predictions for the Bulldogs.
After completing their regular season SEC schedule, Georgia football will finish up with two non-conference games before heading to the SEC Championship game.
These are likely to both be tune-up confidence booster games against clearly inferior teams. But this is still college football and you can never underestimate your opponent.
First up this week, Georgia will face the Charleston Southern Buccaneers. This game will be played this Saturday at 12:00pm ET and will be aired on SECN+ as well as ESPN+. They have not released the spread of this game but I imagine the Dawgs will be favored by about 50 points or so.
Georgia football is clearly the best team in the country at this point and has yet to even be challenged since week 1. The Bulldogs are 10-0 and are extremely likely to make the College Football Playoff regardless of the outcome in the SEC title game.
Charleston Southern on the other hand is not quite the blue blood program that Georgia is. They are in the Big South Conference of the FCS. They currently sit at 4-5 on the season.
Even though they may not have a chance against the Bulldogs, this is still a great opportunity for their players to showcase their talents on the big stage. They’ll always be able to say that they faced one of the best college defenses ever assembled.
As we preview this matchup, here are 3 bold predictions for Georgia vs Charleston Southern.
