I’ve been incredibly impressed with Notre Dame over the past month, or so, and the Irish continued their dominance on Saturday against Georgia Tech.

In my pregame bold predictions for this game, I said Notre Dame would hold Georgia Tech out of the end zone, making it three straight games without allowing a touchdown, and guess what? The Irish did just that. That’s right, Notre Dame hasn’t surrendered a single touchdown in the month of November and since giving up 34 points to North Carolina last month. Marcus Freeman deserves a ton of praise for the job he’s done.

Notre Dame cruised to a 55-0 win over Georgia Tech and Jack Coan had yet another solid game, completing 15-of-20 passes for 285 yards and two scores.

Are the Irish going to move up? Yes, but I’m not quite sure if they’ll have a real shot at making the top four by the end of the season because of the fact that they don’t have a conference title game to prove themselves.

Still, Notre Dame is a New Year’s Six team at the very least.
