2. C.J. Stroud is the new Heisman Front-Runner

This has been one of the most wide-open Heisman races that college football has seen in years. Some of the favorites for the trophy have had bad seasons or their teams have not lived up to expectations. Coming into this game, either Walker or Stroud was going to have a chance to make a big statement in a big game, and in the end, it was Stroud that wowed the country with his play-making ability.

Stroud was on point from the very beginning of this game, throwing a beautiful throw right down the middle to Olave. He produced Heisman winning stats in the first half of this game alone. Stroud finished the first half 29-31 for 393 yards and six touchdowns. This was the kind of game that fans have been waiting to see from a Heisman candidate and it was an impressive effort from the Ohio State quarterback.

WIth only two weeks left to go, it is hard to see anybody really catching Stroud. Alabama quarterback Bryce Young could always have a big game against Georgia in the SEC Championship Game, but for now, Stroud has to be the undisputed leader for the Heisman trophy.
