Georgia Tech hasn’t scored in what seems like a month and playing Georgia was never going to snap the Yellow Jackets out of that offensive drought.

The Bulldogs improved to 12-0 on the season and have set up a date with Alabama in the SEC title game which will decide their final seed in the playoff. I don’t think there’s any doubt at this point that Georgia is the best team in college football and I don’t think a loss to Alabama is going to change that.

Kirby Smart’s team is in a rare position with his team likely locking up a playoff berth before the conference title game and even if the Bulldogs lose to Alabama, I don’t see them dropping any lower than No. 3.

Georgia has the best defense in the country and with no problems on the offensive side of the ball, the Bulldogs are going to be an overwhelming favorite to win the national title.

This is a no-brainer No. 1 team with zero controversy.
