Texas A&M football fell to LSU due to a last-minute touchdown, likely changing their bowl destination. What did we learn from this rivalry weekend matchup?

The Aggies led down the stretch and a couple of questionable calls — including what should have been a strip on the final punt by Demani Richardson — plus a last-minute touchdown cost them a game and likely a trip to Florida for the Citrus Bowl. We will now see what bowl the Aggies end up at, but until then — here are three takeaways from the matchup.

3. Michael Clemons just made himself some serious money

Michael Clemons, an Aggie graduate student, just made himself some big money with a 3.5 sack performance against LSU. He had 3.5 over the entire season heading up to this game and matched that in this game. He was an integral part of the Ags even having a chance in this game and he should be celebrated as the Defensive Lineman of the Week.

He, along with many others along that line, will be leaving for the NFL in the spring. They are all looking to prove themselves to scouts and Clemons did just that tonight. Where will he end up in terms of the draft? We will have to wait and see, but he for sure made things uncomfortable for the offensive line of LSU.  It was obvious that Max Johnson was trying to avoid him all night and was unable to do so for much of the game, something that really kept the Aggies in it.
