Texas A&M Football: 3 Takeaways from last minute loss to LSU
By Shelbie Warr
2. The emergence of Jalen Preston is huge for the Aggies
Jalen Preston hadn’t had a touchdown since 2018 and had been looking for that touchdown for the last three years. He finally caught two against LSU and things are looking up for the junior wideout from Manvel, Texas. Those 14 points kept the Aggies in the game and he was able to really make sure that he was not forgotten amongst the big names on the Aggie offense.
One of his touchdowns, the more impressive of the two, is shown above. Look for Preston to really be a big part of the bowl game plan with Demond Demas out and Caleb Chapman at best questionable. He was a huge recruit coming out of high school and many were waiting for him to emerge and it seems that he has finally done just that.
