2. Fiesta Bowl (vs. Notre Dame)

Sports Illustrated currently projects Ole Miss to take on Notre Dame in the Playstation Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix, Ariz.

The Irish and the Rebels have split the all-time series at one game apiece. Ole Miss got a win over Notre Dame in 1977 and a recorded a loss in 1985.

This is the game most Ole Miss fans would want to see. Notre Dame is a team with a ton of fans around the country and it would bring fans pleasure to beat one of America’s most beloved teams.

A win against Notre Dame would be a nice feather in the cap of superstar quarterback Matt Corral before he departs the team for a career in the NFL.

Notre Dame is currently ranked No. 6 in the College Football Playoff Rankings and they have a better chance of sneaking into the four-team playoff with a few losses by a combination of Alabama, Cincinnati, and/or Oklahoma State.

So, this opponent could very well be up in the air if we see chaos this weekend in the conference championship games.
