Ole Miss Football: 3 potential 2021 bowl destinations for the Rebels
3. Peach Bowl (vs. Wake Forest)
Yahoo! Sports currently projects Ole Miss to the Peach Bowl as well, but this time it’s a different opponent.
Yahoo Sports believes the Rebels will be playing the winner of the ACC title game and they project that to be Wake Forest instead of Pitt.
Ole Miss and Wake Forest have met twice in team history, with the Rebels dropping both games in 2006 and 2008.
This game, if it were to happen, would feature a ton of offense. Ole Miss boasts one of the best offenses in the SEC, scoring 35.9 points per game. Wake Forest is one of the highest-scoring teams of anyone in college football this year, recording an average of 42.9 points per game.
The Rebels would love the opportunity to go toe-to-toe with such a prolific offense and show the ACC what SEC size and speed is all about.
The Demon Deacons are currently ranked No. 16 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
