Early predictions for College Football Playoff and New Year’s Six bowls

The Grandaddy of them will have a traditional Big Ten-Pac 12 matchup but it’s one that not many college football fans expected, especially a few weeks ago.

Utah beat Oregon twice down the stretch in order to win the Pac-12 title. Maybe it had something to do with the Ducks head coach basically interviewing elsewhere during his team’s title run, but that’s college football sometimes.

Kyle Wittingham is spectacular and won yet another conference championship at Utah. And now the Utes will play in the biggest game this side of the College Football Playoff.

This will come down to motivation, or it could. Ohio State is the better team. It’s better than just about every team not in the playoff. But will the Buckeyes get up for the Rose Bowl?

How many will opt out?

If Ohio State is focused and I think it will be, it will win the game by 2-3 touchdowns, if not more.
