Aidan Hutchinson did something unique

Bryce Young deserves a lot of credit for having such a great game against Georiga and for leading Alabama to the College Football Playoff, as well as the SEC championship.

But Mac Jones and a bunch of other Alabama quarterbacks have done that too. Young is surrounded by future NFL players at every position and on both sides of the ball.

The fact is that at times, Alabama underachieved this season and if Young hadn’t stunk it up for three quarters against Auburn, his team wouldn’t have needed saving.

Michigan football was given a zero percent chance of reaching the College Football Playoff by the ESPN FPI. The Wolverines were given a two percent chance of winning the Big Ten.

Yet, here they are, ready to take on Georgia in the Orange Bowl. The Bulldogs, Crimson Tide, and Cincinnati to a lesser extent were expected. Michigan wasn’t and without Aidan Hutchinson, this team probably doesn’t win 10 games.
