College football free agency has essentially started with the transfer portal and here are perfect landing spots for Spencer Rattler, Quinn Ewers, and more top quarterbacks.

If your favorite college football team is in need of a quarterback, look no further than the transfer portal, which has a number of highly-touted signal-callers available.

Certainly, there is an advantage to getting a high school quarterback. They can potentially have more eligibility and possibly more upside. But if you are in need of a guy right now, there are some great possibilities, including five stars with multiple years of eligibility.

The issue nowadays is that quarterbacks don’t stay long. If they are good, you’ve got a year or two at most and even when you start a kid as a true freshman, you’ve got three years if he’s any good.

There are a number of teams such as Oregon, Nebraska, UCLA, Texas, Florida State, Ole Miss, and a number of others that need to upgrade and with Spencer Rattler, Quinn Ewers, Dillon Gabriel, Max Johnson, Myles Brennan, Adrian Martinez, and others with experience available, it’s going to be an interesting game of musical chairs.

Looking at who’s available right now and projecting some fits — based on head coaching moves — here is the perfect landing spot for some of the top transfer portal quarterbacks.

Keep in mind, some of these will be based in part on visits, crystal balls, and reported interest. Some are solely based on the inner workings of my mind. So here we go.
