Max Johnson to Florida State

After a really rough start to the season, Mike Norvell and Florida State started to play better and things have been going better on the recruiting trail.

Yet, the Noles really need to find a dynamic quarterback and on that front, the addition of Max Johnson to the transfer portal, a former four-star quarterback with ties to FSU, was a huge boon.

Johnson started every game for LSU this season and while the Tigers only won six games, he directed the team to wins over Florida and Ole Miss. He also threw 27 touchdown passes compared to just six interceptions, while also throwing for over 2,800 yards.

Additionally, Johnson, who is the son of former Florida State quarterback Brad Johnson, has a brother, Jake Johnson, that was committed to LSU and re-opened his recruitment.

Both are Florida State legacies and there seems like a strong chance that both players could wind up playing for the Seminoles next season.

If that happens, it will be a huge win for Norvell who will be getting one of the top quarterbacks in the transfer portal and one with multiple years of eligibility.
