Dillon Gabriel to Ole Miss

Of all the quarterbacks in the transfer portal right now, UCF’s Dillon Gabriel is one of the most talented. He’s also got some of the best production.

However, things didn’t go exactly as planned this season under Gus Malzahn. Gabriel did complete 68 percent of his passes this season but only attempted a little more than 100 attempts. He also had nine touchdowns and three interceptions.

Now, Gabriel has entered the portal and it seems like the perfect fit is Ole Miss. The Rebels have already received crystal balls projecting the UCF quarterback to Oxford and outside of his connection with Jeff Lebby, the Rebels’ OC, there is also an opening with Matt Corral leaving.

Lane Kiffin is one of the best offensive minds in college football and while there were rumblings all offseason about him taking another job, even the Oregon job which is currently open, it seems likely he will be back.

And Kiffin plus Gabriel could lead to another year of excitement for Ole Miss football.
