College Football 2021: 4 bowl games that will be better than the playoff

3. Alamo Bowl (Oregon vs. Oklahoma)

How do I put this delicately? This year’s Alamo Bowl between top-20 teams Oregon and Oklahoma should be interesting because of how overrated they both turned out to be. That wasn’t exactly “delicate,” but it’s still true.

The Ducks have looked like complete jokes over the course of their past few games (which included two beatdowns to a merely-decent Utah squad). At the same time, OU (-4.5) fell victim to their schedule as soon as they faced anyone remotely formidable.

Now, the dynamic duo will face one another in the battle for the biggest poser. An ugly affair should be expected here between two coach-less teams (Dan Lanning is coaching Georgia in the playoff and Bob Stoops is the interim before Brent Venables takes over in the offseason).
