We are one day away from 2021 Early National Signing Day and here’s a look at five college football teams that will be big winners when it’s all over.

There are few days that offer more excitement for college football fans than Early National Signing Day. It used to just be signing day, which there is a later signing day in February, but for all intents and purposes, the biggest recruiting day of the year is Wednesday.

That’s Early National Signing Day and it’s the start of the early signing period which lasts until Friday. So if recruits decided not to sign between Wednesday and Friday evening, they will need to wait for the late signing period in February, which some elite recruits are going to do.

It happens more with five-star prospects or guys that are blooming late and want to take in all the potential offers before making a final decision. Coaching changes have also caused some to push back timelines as there has been major movement with USC, Notre Dame, LSU, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Florida, Washington, Oregon, and a number of others making head coaching changes.

It’s not a coincidence that many of the programs with new head coaches aren’t expected to have overly productive early signing days.

However, that’s not true in every instance, and looking ahead to 2021 Early National Signing Day, here are the five teams that will end up as the biggest winners.

Early National Signing Day projected winner: Texas A&M Football

The Aggies have put together a spectacular 2022 recruiting class and have as much momentum as anyone on the trail right now. With 21 commitments total, A&M is third in the 247 sports team rankings for 2022 and trails both Alabama and Georgia by just a few points.

Texas A&M football already has four five-star recruits committed as well as 14 ranked as four stars. And, the Aggies are trending (with crystal ball picks) to add five-star Denver Harris, as well as three other top-100 prospects in the 247 composite rankings in Enai White, Anothony Lucas, and Kam Dewberry.

Harris is the only one who doesn’t have a set time to announce a commitment on Wednesday, but expect a lot of fireworks for Texas A&M football, both on Early National Signing Day and also during the late period as more five-stars are expected to join Jimbo Fisher’s 2022 haul.
