3. This is a Huge Blow for Florida State

This is the most basic takeaway from today, but this is a massive loss for Florida State and head coach Mike Norvell.

Hunter was a Florida State fan from a young age and grew up in the area and had been committed to the Seminoles throughout the recruiting cycle. Hunter was a standout wide receiver and cornerback for Collins Hill high school in Georgia and it seemed like he was deadset on coming to Florida State and trying to help turn the program around.

Florida State was on the verge of having a top-10 recruiting class and the top class in the ACC until Hunter flipped. This is a program that has been sinking further and further into mediocrity since Jimbo Fisher left. Hunter was thought to be one of the guys that would change the direction of the program. This is going to cause Norvell to lose more credibility with the fanbase and it is going to be up to him to move on from today and get the Seminoles back on track.
