The top recruit in the country pulled an all-time shocker by flipping from Florida State to Jackson State on Wednesday

Early Signing Day is one of the biggest days on the college football calendar. Fans everywhere look forward to today and hope that the next group of freshmen can turn their program around or keep them elite. Plenty of crazy things can happen on signing day, but nothing could prepare the college football world for what was about to unfold on Wednesday morning.

Travis Hunter, the number one ranked high school player in the country and longtime Florida State commit, flipped his commitment to Jackson State. Hunter grew up a Florida State fan and he was supposed to be the recruit that changed things for the Seminoles and their football program. Despite taking multiple visits this fall to Athens and the University of Georgia, it was assumed that Hunter would not divert from Tallahassee.

The rumor started circulating early Wednesday morning about a potential to Jackson State and head coach Deion Sanders and it turned out to be true.
