With a new coaching staff, LSU football was able to bring in a few talented prospects for next season. Who are the guys likely to make an instant impact?

LSU football has had one of the most interesting past couple of months of any program.

After agreeing to part ways with Ed Orgeron, the Tigers had a long search for their next head coach. LSU landed one of the best coaches in the country in former Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly and he is looking to immediately turn the Tigers back into contenders for SEC titles. His first order of business was to land a solid recruiting class in just a matter of weeks and try to find impact guys for next season.

LSU is one of the best jobs in the country and one of the reasons for that is the ability to recruit top talent to the program. Louisiana is one of the most talent-rich states in the country and most of the kids grow up dreaming about playing for the Tigers. It’s going to be crucial for Kelly to keep that in-state talent at LSU and prevent them from leaving for schools like Alabama or Georgia.

When it comes to this recruiting class, LSU was able to keep some top guys committed and added a couple of guys on Early Signing Day. With some of the guys leaving for the NFL and the struggles of the past couple of seasons, it won’t be as hard for any of these guys to get on the field.
