Miami football had a phenomenal early signing period considering they just hired a new head coach. Who are the guys most likely to make an early impact?

Miami football had been struggling in the recruiting game this cycle under former head coach Manny Diaz. The Hurricanes’ class was slipping into the 70s and 80s and they looked like they did not have much hope.

Enter in new head coach Mario Cristobal and now Miami could finish with a top 25 class when everything is over in February. Cristobal did a terrific job getting some high-level prospects down to South Florida on a team that needs some young talent.

What’s even more impressive about this class for Miami is not only that it came together quickly, but that Cristobal did so without a full coaching staff. Miami is still in the process of filling out their new staff and that it is hard to get guys to commit without knowing who might coach them.

Cristobal is known as a dynamite recruiter and it is already paying dividends on the trail.

While Miami’s class might not have the numbers of total signees like some other classes, they have one of the highest averages among the recruits that they signed. While it is always tough for players to get on the field as true freshmen, there are some guys in this class that should see playing time early and often for the Hurricanes.

Here are the early signees that will make an instant impact on Miami next fall.
