24. Arkansas

The Hogs enjoyed a tremendous season in 2021, posting an 8-4 record which included signature wins over Texas and Texas A&M.

Those early-season wins must have brought back thoughts of the SWC for Razorback fans but there’s no doubt that Sam Pittman has returned the excitement to Fayetteville.

Pittman seems like the perfect coach for Arkansas and the fans responded in 2021, with the second-biggest attendance increase in the FBS. Arkansas brought in over 69,000 fans on average this season and that was a 35 percent increase from the previous season.

It was double the increase of the second-closest team in the SEC and when you talk about atmosphere, it sure was electric when Texas came to town.

Arkansas is building something with Pittman as its head coach and in the next few years, opposing teams are going to have a tough time going to Fayetteville and getting a win.
