Big game Bob is back

If you’re looking for a little dose of nostalgia, then Oklahoma is prepared to offer you that in this bowl game.

The Alamo Bowl is a chance to see Stoops back on the Oklahoma sidelines for one night and one night only.

Stoops, as most will remember, served as the Sooners head coach from 1999-2016. His resume speaks for itself, but in case you need reminding, he’s one of the all-time great coaches in modern college football history.

Stoops won a BCS Championship in 2000, was named AP Coach of the Year (2000), won 10 Big 12 championships, and helped get countless Oklahoma football players to the NFL.

Seeing Stoops on the Sooner sidelines will be a real treat for long-time fans of college football and especially long-time Oklahoma football fans.
