Two former AP Top 5 teams are squaring off in the Alamo Bowl 2021

Oregon and Oklahoma are the two highest-rated teams competing in the Alamo Bowl since 2017 when No. 13 TCU vs No. 15 Stanford squared off.

Oregon was ranked as high as No. 3 in the Sept. 29 poll of the AP Top 25. Their current ranking, No. 15, is the lowest the Ducks have been ranked this season.

The Ducks to Stanford early in the season and Utah twice— once during the regular season and once in the Pac 12 Championship Game.

Oklahoma, which was ranked No. 2 in the preseason AP Top 25, lost to Baylor and Oregon State.

These two teams, although lost a couple of unexpected games, did earn quality wins over the course of the season.

Oregon got a huge road win over Ohio State early in the season. Oklahoma was able to get a big win over Texas in a neutral-site game.

Which of these teams will get their second win over a ranked opponent this year?
