This might not be as much of a need as it would be a want for Texas A&M as the Aggies are preparing to lose the left side of their offensive line this offseason.

Mason Brooks is one of the best linemen on the market and he was a first-team All-Conference USA selection at Western Kentucky after dominating at right tackle. Some of the best transfers come from smaller schools because they’re not leaving due to playing time but rather because they’re ready for that next step. Brooks would be a monster at Texas A&M.

As of a couple of weeks ago, the Western Kentucky transfer had heard from nearly a dozen Power Five programs including Arizona State, Auburn, Baylor, Minnesota, and Iowa State but it wouldn’t be a bad thing to see if he’d be interested in a leap to Texas A&M.

Imagine if he could come in and maybe make the move to the left side of the line or if Texas A&M could move someone from the right to the left and have Brooks start at right tackle.

This would be a massive addition for the Aggies.
