The second linebacker to appear on this list of potential targets, I think Terrence Lewis would be a fantastic addition for Texas A&M despite the fact that the Aggies might be getting Harold Perkins in the 2022 class.

Lewis was a former top target of the Aggies back in the 2021 class and he shockingly chose Maryland over Texas A&M, Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, and Miami.

After just one season with the Terrapins in which he didn’t play because of an ACL injury in January which he was recovering from, the former five-star from Florida decided to hit the portal. He has to be considered one of the top defensive players on the market and Texas A&M would be wise to reach out to see if he’s still interested.

Lewis was the No. 1 inside linebacker in the 2021 recruiting class and the No. 21 overall recruit in the country, according to the composite, and he’d be an instant contributor, assuming he’s healthy, if he chose Texas A&M.

This defense is shaping up nicely, but it needs some depth at linebacker.
