The 2021 College Football Playoff is just hours away and here is a look ahead to both the Orange and Cotton Bowls with final predictions for each.

This is the day we have all been waiting for. The 2021 College Football Playoff is almost here as the Cotton Bowl and Orange Bowl are now just hours away.

There is just one undefeated team in the 2021 College Football Playoff and that’s Cincinnati, which is actually the No. 4 seed and will battle Alabama in the Cotton Bowl as a hefty underdog.

Regardless of what happens in the Cotton Bowl, the Bearcats had an incredible season and did something that was previously thought unthinkable — making the College Football Playoff as a Group of Five team.

Last season probably helped as people were well aware of the Bearcats going into the season and now, they will get a chance to prove they belong against the big-bad Alabama Crimson Tide.

Nick Saban just saw his fifth player win a Heisman Trophy and now, will attempt to lead Alabama to a seventh national championship since 2009 and its fourth of the College Football Playoff era.

While the Tide have won three titles in the playoff era, they haven’t won back-to-back. No team has, so watch out for Saban and Bama making more history in 2021.

In the Orange Bowl, Jim Harbaugh and Kirby Smart are seeking their first national titles, although Smart has reached the final game before, losing to Alabama back in 2017.

This will be Georgia’s second playoff berth but it’s the first for Michigan, which went 12-1 this season and finally defeated Ohio State on its way to a Big Ten title.

The 2021 College Football Playoff should make for some fascinating action and we look ahead with a look at the odds, as well as a preview and prediction for both the Cotton and Orange Bowls.
