The postseason brings a confluence of several different things in the college football world. The early signing period runs through bowl season, as does the coaching carousel. Then, there is the looming NFL draft.

Scouts, pundits, and fans alike watch these games to see players who might play on Sundays. In the 2021 Cotton Bowl, both the Bearcats and Crimson Tide have plenty of players who will be in NFL camps this summer.

Though several underclassmen like Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams could declare for the draft, this list focuses on seniors and graduate players with no eligibility left.

Both teams have great offensive players; however, Bearcats’ head coach Luke Fickell and Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban are defensive gurus. All of Cincinnati’s back-eight have the potential to be in NFL camps in 2022 and 2023.

It is no secret how the Tide recruit and develop talent and send players to the NFL. What makes this game intriguing is the prospect on prospect matchups between both teams. Cincinnati’s secondary versus Alabama’s wide receivers is a matchup worth the watch.
