Jimbo Fisher has the Aggies close though. They reached the New Years’ Six after the 2020 season and knocked off Alabama with his backup quarterback in 2021.

Just imagine what Jimbo could do with Caleb Williams?

Texas A&M already landed highly-touted transfer Max Johnson this offseason and while that’s an upgrade, it might be hard to pass up on Williams if he wants to play in College Station.

Conner Weigman is another five-star signee of the Aggies but Williams has already proven he’s not shy of a loaded depth chart or competition. And Fisher, he’s got a history of developing NFL quarterbacks so Texas A&M football actually checks a lot of boxes.
