During Stoop’s tenure in Lexington, the Wildcats have done a good job at developing linebackers. Kentucky has a stud in JJ Weaver at the linebacker position, but they could use some more playmakers at the position on defense. The Wildcats’ defense is a lot better when it has stellar linebacker play and they are hoping to continue that going into next season.

Keaten Wade is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound linebacker from Spring Hill, Tenn., and he is going to fit in well with Kentucky’s style of defense.

Wade is a great athlete, that is a physical run stopper as well. Kentucky is going to have some spots to fill on their defense heading into next season and it is likely that Wade will make an impact at special teams at least.

Look for Wade to become the next big-time linebacker prospect to come out of Kentucky.
