Georgia Football will battle Alabama Monday for the CFP National Championship and here are three keys for the Bulldogs to beat the Crimson Tide.

For the second time in five years, the Georgia football team has reached the College Football Playoff National Championship. And for the second time, Alabama will be waiting.

The Bulldogs lost in overtime to the Crimson Tide back in 2017 and following a loss to Alabama in the SEC championship game last month, Georgia football will get another chance to solve the Crimson Tide and all-world head coach Nick Saban.

Kirby Smart is a former Saban assistant and he’s done everything an SEC head coach can but beat Alabama and win a national title.

Can Smart and the Dawgs win their first national title in four decades? Here are three keys for Georgia football to make it happen.

Stetson Bennett must avoid mistakes

Georgia football cannot win this game unless it gets a solid effort from Stetson Bennett. He threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns in the Orange Bowl. But in the SEC title game, Bennett threw two interceptions and struggled in the red zone.

If the National Championship game is going to be any different, Bennett has to avoid interceptions. He doesn’t have to be perfect but turnovers could easily turn into the deciding factor on Monday night and Georgia football can’t be on the wrong side of the turnover battle.

Most importantly, Bennett can’t play the way he did in the SEC championship game or the outcome is going to be exactly the same.
