Bryce Young is going to get hit and intercepted

In the first meeting between Georgia football and Alabama, one of the key factors was the fact that Bryce Young wasn’t sacked once.

Georgia notched at least one sack in every game and was among the nation’s leaders in tackles for loss and only had three against Alabama.

That will change on Monday night. Georgia’s defense didn’t change dramatically and neither did the Alabama offensive line which was solid in the semifinals. But the Bulldogs aren’t going to be shut out without a sack again.

Nakobe Dean, Jordan Davis, and company are going to ball out on Monday. The old adage is that defense wins championships and Georgia is going to need its defense to be great to beat Alabama.

Young and the Tide offense seems unstoppable. But where have we heard that before? We heard that the St. Louis Rams were unstoppable; that the Patriots in 2007 were unbeatable and all because of their offenses.

However, their quarterbacks were beaten up by great defenses that ended up winning championships, and Monday night, the Georgia defense will get to Young. The Bulldogs will sack him and I say they get at least one interception off the Heisman Trophy winner.

But will it be enough?
