3. Anthony Rose (Defensive Back)

South Carolina had one of the more underrated defenses in the SEC this season. The bad news for South Carolina is that they are losing quite a few contributors on that side of the ball.

The Gamecocks are going to have to reload at nearly every level of the defense and find guys to make an instant impact. As mentioned earlier, South Carolina recruited the defensive backfield heavily and is hoping a couple of those guys can get on the field quickly next season.

One of those guys that should find his way into some playing time next season is Anthony Rose. Rose is a play-making safety from Miami Central high school and is an underrated prospect out of the state of Florida.

At 6-3/180 LBS, Rose has the size that you are looking for in an SEC safety and he could bulk up some as well. He has solid instincts with the ball in the air and good speed as well. Look for Rose to contribute right away for South Carolina football in 2022.
