5. Ajou Ajou: from Clemson to South Florida

Former Clemson wide receiver Ajou Ajou is an “off the bus” player. At 6-foot-4 and 224 pounds, Ajou looks like an NFL wide receiver off the bus. The Canadian native is on this list not for his productivity like Jake Bobo but for what he could become.

One could argue that Ajou’s transfer from Clemson was due to him being there two years and not putting it together. Ajou had only eight receptions in two seasons at Clemson with one touchdown. One could also argue there are also four other wide receivers on the roster, similar to Ajou’s size and skill set.

For Ajou, he was the rawest prospect.

It did not take long for Ajou to sign after entering the transfer portal. Ajou’s relationship with former Clemson co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott and playing his high school football in Clearwater, a suburb of Tampa Bay.

Unlike Clemson, there isn’t anyone on the South Florida roster like Ajou. He is a value add for the Bulls’ receiver room. Ajou instantly becomes the best athlete in the room and could be special if he puts it all together.

Ajou is the 11th transfer joining USF. The portal class included two former Clemson players, Michael Dukes and safety Ray Thornton.
